A Passionate New Definition Of Peace With tremendous respect for those who have dedicated their lives to stopping wars, we must re-define the word "peace". If we continue to view peace as meaning anti-war and wars keep springing up across the globe like wildflowers... then peace is relegated to the losing side every time. I have heard so many people congratulating the recent turn out of the peace movement against the war in Iraq but, again with all due respect, the last time I looked the dead bodies in Iraq were still piling higher and higher. The people who believe in war wouldn't congratulate themselves if we had stopped the war. For them, their way is life and death. We may disagree with them, but give credit where credit is due. They Are Passionate About Getting Their Way Peace can no longer be the arrogant emperor's clothes that those against war so proudly don. Oh don't we love the superiority we feel when we talk about those who believe in war. While we're patting ourselves on the back for our progressive thoughts, they're laughing all the way to the battlefield. Peace Is Not The Few Days Or Months Between Wars Peace is more than the motto on your protest sign, the day after you engaged in some petty war of words or thoughts against a neighbor or loved one. Passionate Peace is the hard-working humble struggle to create a non-blamey, non-arrogant acceptance of the pains and pleasures that Humanity has been created to experience. Peace is the spanking brand new river of human experience that will begin on the left bank of the archetypal unconscious, gathering momentum and gravity while first inhabiting the 10% of the consciousness directly opposite that of the War Mentality, and slowly attracting consciousness from the middle 80%. Peace is a positive aggregation of humanity's most enlightened dreams, passionately put into action... AND THEN, THE MOST EXCITING GENETIC EVOLUTION OF MANKIND IN HISTORY WILL BEGIN. |
