I Am The Way Clearly, the "He Died For Our Sins" part they kept and underlined. Sources tell me that originally, that part was thrown in to cover up the cowardice of some of the disciples. Jesus was trying to show us that pain and sacrifice brought us into a hidden kingdom of God, into a truth that would not need the blinders of fig leaves and the blissfulness of untruth. But, when the disciples denied Jesus, they had to invent the idea that "only he was supposed to go through the pain". He died so that they "and us" could continue to live as children, blind to the cosmic need that we were created to heal. That 'NEED' is the missing 90% of the universe, the weight we carry around in our souls that we either drug ourselves, or kill others to avoid feeling. With SIX BILLION of us on the planet divided into that hidden 90% of the heavy pain of the universe that God needs us to transmute and heal, we wouldn't need a single Christ again to try to do it all for us... just lift up your damn one six billionth of the weight and put a poignant smile on your face. Passionate Peace Is Only That Far Away And, I am convinced that we must forgive all the humans past and present who could not help but believe that violence was the solution to their problems... God created this gang and I firmly believe that there is a mighty tough pill to swallow if we humans are to give up the luxury that accompanies the self-righteous belief that killing off the bad guys is the way to go. But, since we are all God's children, it is preposterous for anyone who is a parent to believe that God desires for one of his children to kill another of his children. So Clearly the "Thou Shalt Not Kill" God is rooting for passionate peace. We, who will passionately work to create a new river of peace and cooperation between peoples, will have a strong ally up in the cool place above the clouds. With all due respect to the blissful ignorance of the haters.... we on the religious left are the ones who obey God. |
