If the right wing talk show hosts who encourage the mentality of civil war against the liberals, ever get their way and hot metal starts raining down on us we'll need one. But seriously... The ones who dig war and hate liberals are as organized and united as hell. And, they get their way, way too often. We desperately need one huge umbrella group to cover the hundreds or thousands of wonderful groups in this world that are walking Humanity's talk For those of you who know of the great 91 years young, Studs Terkel, he recently said on N.P.R that the one thing holding back the progressive movements of humanity is................THE LACK OF AN UMBRELLA GROUP. Whatever truly wonderful group you now belong to... Become a passionate peace partner also... it costs you nothing. Whatever truly wonderful things your group is now accomplishing or striving for, continue your work... but also, as one UNITED group we can take on huge yearly positive endeavors together and succeed at them. When we become a worldwide force of say 250 million people or more, we can feed all gods children, teach the children of the world how peace would work, teach young men how and why they are insane not to respect women as much as men... stop rape. Hey, it's drizzling already, Passionate Peace Partners... lets get that umbrella ready before it pours. FROM MT.OLYMPUS TO MT. SHASTA.................................... In early August,2004 We will gather all the tribes of the Passionate Peace Nation in a great ceremony to mark AMERICA'S RE-INTRODUCTION into Holy Matrimony with the rest of the World. This ceremony , to take place in Mt Shasta, California , will coincide with the Olympic Truce, Ekecheiria, which those of us in Epidavros Greece during the Olympics, will celebrate on Mt Olympus. We will link up these two sites via satellite. Here in Mt Shasta we will invite all the churches, temples, mosques and abbeys in America to join in a Parade in which they will each display a banner celebrating the individuality that they bring to the COLLECTIVE HUNGER FOR WORLD PEACE. |
